Early British Passport hand signed by Robert Jenkinson Lord Hawkesbury as foreign secretary (later prime minister for 15 years as earl of Liverpool), dated 1802, made out to Mr Bodley, with Lord Hawkesbury arms at top, detailed black printing with manuscript annotations signatures and French visa frank stamp at bottom on reverse Dieppe frank stamp and notation for travel to Paris, text in French (the diplomatic language) size 9¾" x 15". (Issued during the several months peace with France in 1802. This is the earliest British passport I have ever seen)
