Naval - Time of Nelson an inventory prepared by the executors of a Mr Freeman for supply of goods to a painter named George Young, dated 1777, 4pp folio on paper, small close tears and slight fraying at the edges, but otherwise good. A fascinating document which lists the supply of buckets painted for a whole host of naval ships which are named, with the values of goods supplied to each with a total of £34/10s. Also listed is the paint for painting the ships which was also part of the inventory. Signed by George Young and dated by him January 30th 1784 (the date when he presumably received the goods). A remarkable insight into the British navy at the time of Nelson
