1980s British Comics Champ was a weekly comic published by DC Thomson from 1984 to 1985. To date, it's been the last weekly boy's comic from the publisher. One of its strips, "We Are United", featured characters from other DC Thomson publications, including Charlie "Iron" Barr from Spike and 'Limp-Along' Leslie. Another feature was entitled "Dennis the Menace's Fun Section"; this consisted of reprints from other comics. In May 1984 Spike merged into Champ; in October 1985 Champ itself merged into Victor.
