The book looks afresh at the Account Book of Sir John Foulis of Ravelston and the numerous golfing entries that give insight into play in the late 1600s, before the foundation of the formal golf societies (note only 50 copies were produced in quarter leather) hence (VG) c/w authors pre-presentation leaflets.
