Collection of interesting brass reels (3) – Jones Maker 111 Jermyn St London c.1845-1852 brass plate wind – 2.5” dia with engraved fish logo to the foot ( a tiny knock), handle cracked, plate wind catches; R Anderson & Son Princes St Edinburgh alloy and brass Hercules style reel – 2.25” dia – alloy foot filed back – slight corrosion to the raised plate wind rim – constant check run smoothly; and Allcocks brass crank wind reel – 2.75” dia with makers Stag logo to the foot, both ends lightly filed – totally restored.
