London Counties v South Africa Rugby Programmes 1951 and 1960 (2): The first issue is generally accepted as the first magazine-style programme for a Twickenham game, and it marked the Springboks’ only defeat of the tour. This copy is fairly distressed to the covers but very acceptable, with the inners entire, clean and well-illustrated, as the RFU caught up with and threatened to overtake the other unions’ programme efforts. The second, a decade on, is virtually identical but cleaner and in VG condition. (2)
