Boxing – Rare 1910 Boxing Poster ‘The Incomparable Prize Fight’ Jack Johnson v Jim Jeffries – Heavyweight Battle of Champions at Reno dated July 4, with Jeffries ‘The White Hope’ persuaded out of retirement to restore pride to the white race. He was however, outclassed and defeated by the superior opponent. The poster is framed and overall measures 34x42cm approx., the reverse displays ‘The Green Mountain Vegetable Ointment’ advertising, a positive remedy for everything, appears with signs of watermarks in places, no signs of significant damage, no sign of creasing and appears a very good example, on removing the poster from the frame there appears to be a small 1” tear along one vertical edge
