Railway - Scarce - British Special Train En Route From Chicago Worlds Columbian Exposition To New York And England 1895 A folding 7 page publication with 5 illustrations and detailing text featuring the London & North Western Railway’s Compound Locomotive “Queen Empress” with train of their latest Sleeping saloon and Composite Carriage. Folds out to size 21½” × 6¾” and expensively bound by a keen previous collector into fine cloth board folder. The London Northwestern Railway sent this their latest Locomotive and these two Carriages to the Worlds Columbian Exposition in Chicago. After display there they were the first British Train supplemented with Wagner Palace Cars to tour the United States carrying passengers and displaying in many towns.
