India – Nawab Hamid Ali Khan of Rampur Royal Worcester Plates 1909 – an exquisite collection of 24 Royal Worcester Porcelain Plates, believed to have been commissioned to commemorate the birth of his daughters for his private collection. The plates are finely decorated with a floral border, gold gilt presented throughout incorporated within a blue design, the Rampur Symbol elegantly displayed to the centre, measures 28.5cm diameter approx., stamped Royal Worcester England to the bottom. Nawab Sayyid Hamid Ali Khan Bahadur (1875-1930) was Nawab of the princely state of Rampur from 1889 to1930, just a teenager when ascended the throne of Rampur, he ruled under the regency to 1896.
