ROD: Rare Hardy Punt Rod, 8’6” 2 piece, Tonkin cane butt, split cane spliced tip section, green whipped, lined butt/tip rings, bronze ferrule, 13.5” cork handle with brass reel rings and butt cap, stamped “G 27338” (1936), refurbish by the late Mike Harris of Kent, c/w Wendy Ward bag. NOTE: The name Punt Rod is a misnomer; it was not designed for punt fishing but designed by M. Punt for small stream fishing.
