Rare 1949 Reginald H Harris signed Cycling Dinner Menu organised by The National Cyclists’ Union also signed by C Cartwright at the Cora Hotel, London 26/10/1949, with NCU Dinner in honour of R.H. Harris at Connaught rooms London, 06/09/1947 and 1963 Manchester wheelers Race Meet Cycling programme 13/07/1963, all in G condition (3). Note: R. H. Harris was Professional Sprint Champion of the World in 1949, 1950, 1951 and 1954, winning the World Amateur Sprint title in 1947 and two Olympic Silver medals in 1948. It was his ferocious will to win that made him a household name in the 1950s, but surprised many with a comeback more than 20 years later winning a British title in 1974 at the age of 54.
