French silver-plated tennis trophy consisting of a trophy bowl supported by three mesh-strung lawn tennis rackets which stand upon a circular metal base with a wooden plinth below. The wooden plinth has two engraved plaques attached. The first reads, “En Souvenir de mes Premieres Parties en 1900 – Louise Aversenq-Villeneau” (In Remembrance of my First Parties in 1900 Louise Aversenq-Villeneau) The Second plaque read, “Coupe Lilly – Tennis Club de St Jean D’Angely”.
