King George III 1738-1820 signed document appointing Thomas Dickens Esq 'to be Captain of Company in Our First Regiment of Foot Guards' in partial print and completed by hand script, given at 'Our Court at Saville House on 27th October 1760', signed to the upper left by George III and countersigned by William Pitt First Earl of Chatham, with paper seal attached, small tears to top centre, folds and some browning but otherwise a clear example, overall measurement 41 x 31 cm
