King George II 1683-1760 signed warrant for deducting twelve pence in the pound, hand written script, stating 'we do hereby direct you to make the same deductions of twelve pence out of every twenty shillings, which you shall issue pursuant to this establishment of our Guards, Garrisons and other Land forces, the non-commission officers and private men of our regiment, and twenty five indenpend company of Invalids', overleaf the list of 37 Garrisons, given at 'our Court at Kensington on 19th August 1751', addressed to William Pitt Pay Master General, signed to both sides 'George R' and countersigned by George Grenville, Henry Pelham and J Campbell, with a centre fold and minor tears to edges, otherwise in clean condition, overall measurement 29 x 47 cm
