Interesting 1867 “Ball-Games” Book – published by George Routledge & Sons, London, with illustrations, hard back book, containing a large chapter on Cricket with information relating to all parts of the game, with some great information, other sports incl Stool bat, Trap, Bat and Ball, Northern Spell, Rackets, Fives, Foot- Ball (which quotes “as one of the most popular but most difficult to describe!!” due the different rules played by different schools) et al there is some damage to the spine resulting in some pages becoming loose, although the book it still intact and makes for an interesting read
