Fine and early Staffordshire ceramic cricket figure of Julius Caesar (Surrey) c1860 showing batsman Caesar standing beside a wicket with a cricket bat to hand, wearing a flat a brown hat, pink bow tie, spotted shirt, brown sash and white trousers and jacket to one side – overall 13” – note a very tiny firing crack between the shoe and jacket and 2x small chips to the base.
