Ephemera – Victorian country house theatricals. An interesting 4 page programme dated April 1862 from illustrating a large country house called ‘The Grove’ at Watford and giving details regarding of two contemporary plays, most of the actors being resident Villiers family and visiting nobility. Size 7¾” × 9¾”. This main building still exists today as a very expensive Country House Hotel.
