Mahatma Gandhi – father of the Indian nation The Labour Monthly 11 volumes covering the years 1921-1926, library binding, in fine condition. The magazine was closely associated with the British Communist Party and ran until 1962. It was founded and edited during his life by Rajani Palme Dutt, journalist and leading Party member. One of the regular features of the magazine was articles on the struggle for Independence in India, and carried many articles written amongst others by Gandhi and Evelyn Roy. Gandhi contributed an article on Britain, India and Swaraj.
