WWII - Anti-Semitic literature a scarce example of original anti-Semitic cartoon artwork by the French cartoonist Ralph Soupault, showing an American explorer carrying the American flag, in which the original stars have been replaced with the Star of David and the legend ‘Cristophe Colon [ie Christoper Columbus] l’Afrique aux Americains !’ [Africa to Americans]. Executed in black and white ink on card approx 19x27cm, together with a subscription leaflet for the French ‘weekly for the youth for the national revolution’, which features another anti-Semitic cartoon by Soupault.
