Queen Anne historic broadside dated 1688 entitled ‘The Princess Anne of Denmark’s Letter to the Queen’ printed on one side of a folio sheet, and issued at the height of the Glorious Revolution which saw her father James II removed from the throne and replaced by her Brother in Law and Sister as joined monarchs. The letter being written at the beginning of the crisis, Anne in effect states that she wants to keep out of the affair until it is resolved. One portion missing from left hand edge not affecting text otherwise in good condition. Wing A3224
