Political Cartoons fine collection of approx 60 mid 19th c political cartoons by ‘HB’ (John Doyle, friend of Dickens and grandfather of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, creator of Sherlock Holmes). Each cartoon is lithographed on a sheet of heavy paper approx 44x31 cm. Various themes from the times, some dated 1846/47, some light foxing to a few, some dusting but in generally good condition.
