American War of Independence edition of the Newcastle Courant for January 18th 1777 with a number of reports on the progress of the War, with reports on the exchange of a large number of prisoners from both sides, the progress of General Howe and the successes of Cornwallis. Front page somewhat soiled and with a tear (reparable in our view) but the American reports are legible throughout.
