Heraldry – Shropshire The Genealogie of the Knightly family of Mainwaringe of Ightfielde in the County of Salop descended from those of Peuer in the County of Chester 1658, manuscript on approx 19pp 4to, and featuring approx 47 hand coloured coats of arms with ms notes, together with a further two watercolour depictions of memorials in Ightfield Church, and a further depiction of Roger de Mainwaring. Vellum covered wrappers with some dusting and wear, erosion to bottom right hand corner of each page affecting a few words only, but the heraldic devices are all intact with bright colours.
