Volume of 12 monthly issues of this scarce publication with engraved plates including several accounts of inventions relating to the construction of a Tunnel under the River Thames, extracted from the papers of the Thames Archway Company. The engineer for the project from 1825 to his death in 10843 was Sir Marc Isambard Brunel with his son, Isambard Kingdom Brunel being the resident engineer, who finally completed the project after his father’s death
