Nelson a fine and extremely rare broadside published by Ackerman dated January 25th 1806 featuring an aquatint by W M Fellows showing the figure of the grieving ‘Britannia’ surrounded by Lord Nelson’s banner of emblems as carried in his funeral procession on January 9th that year, with a short paragraph of text explaining the illustration. Printed on a single leaf of paper approx 37x22 cm. This is considered one of the rarest of all items of Nelsonian memorabilia and this example is in particularly good condition.
