For many years, our printed auction catalogues have been a familiar and valued part of our service. We know that for many of you, receiving a catalogue in the post has been more than just practical — it has been part of the tradition and anticipation that surrounds each sale.
However, as our business and the world around us continue to evolve, so too must the way we operate.
Due to significant increases in printing and postage costs, along with ongoing supply and distribution challenges, producing and mailing hard-copy catalogues has become increasingly inefficient and unsustainable. At the same time, we are mindful of our environmental responsibilities.
The resources required to print and distribute thousands of catalogues for each auction — many of which are only partially used — no longer align with our commitment to operating responsibly and efficiently.
For these reasons, we will no longer be producing printed catalogues for our auctions effective immediately.
Instead, we will be providing a print ready and formatted PDF version of each auction catalogue. This new digital edition will be:
• Easily accessible via our website
• Downloadable to your computer, tablet, or smartphone
• Printable at home should you prefer a hard copy
This approach allows you to view the catalogue at your convenience, whilst maintaining a digital archive of past sales — while significantly reducing waste and keeping costs manageable.
We understand that change can take adjustment, and we are here to help. If you require assistance accessing or downloading the catalogue, our team will be very happy to guide you through the process.
Our commitment to presenting detailed auction catalogues remains unchanged. Only the format is evolving.
Thank you for your continued support and understanding as we take this step forward — balancing tradition with responsibility, and ensuring we can continue delivering exceptional auctions for years to come.
